ATTENTION UNEMPLOYED VETERANSThank you for asking about services here at the College for our Veterans. The College has two Veterans Centers on campus – one on East in the Harvin Center and one on West Campus in the Coleman Center. We also have grants that provides some funding for retraining Veterans to enter the workforce. THE HALL IS NOW NO SMOKING Last Updated (Monday, 23 July 2018 18:59) VA Grants Up to One Year of Retroactive Veterans BenefitsFrom a Department of Veterans Affairs News Release WASHINGTON, Aug. 2, 2013 – The Department of Veterans Affairs announced yesterday that veterans filing an original fully developed claim for service-connected disability compensation may be entitled to up to one-year of retroactive disability benefits. The retroactive benefits, which are in effect Aug. 6, 2013, through Aug. 5, 2015, are a result of a comprehensive legislative package passed by Congress and signed into law by President Barack Obama last year.
